MEET CHLOE

Chloe Top of the Pups Pet Services

CHLOE P.

Hi I'm Chloe and I am Top of the Pups Pet Services!

I have been an animal lover all my life, having had a variety of pets of my own over 27 years - my dog Harley for 10 of those years - and caring for pets of friends' and family when they have been away/on holiday.

I am DBS checked, dog first aid certified, have completed canine focused workshops with The Dog Training College, and achieved a Level 3 qualification in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare.

Since Harley passed in 2016 we have not been able to get another dog of our own, but I am still a crazy dog lady at heart, hence why I love to looking after others' lovely fluffs!

ABOUT TOP OF THE PUPS

Top of the Pups came into being in 2020, while I was furloughed from my pub job due to the Covid 19 pandemic, and had a lot of time on my hands. I filled this spare time by looking after animal pals for local pet owners, which I quickly fell in love with, and resulted in working towards becoming self employed so I could do it full time!

My household is all adults, consisting of myself, my mother and sister. They also have years of experience with caring for pets if an extra pair of hands is needed, so there's no worry of me getting overwhelmed.

I only take on a maximum of 4 pets at a time, meaning your fur baby(s) will have pretty much all my attention for playing in the garden, going on walks in the local area, and getting lots of cuddles and fuss!

After receiving your enquiry, I organise a meet and greet with you and your pet prior to the booking date, and if needed  trial days and/or nights. This way we have a chance to meet in advance to check it will be a good fit for everyone, and give you peace of mind that your pet will be happy during their stay.

I am happy to take on any size dog, assuming they are comfortable in our home, and are at a point in training where they are not excessively boisterous and walk well on lead. If you are unsure whether I and your pet will be a good fit, do get in contact to discuss with me, and we can see how it goes during a meet and greet!

As we have a guinea pig, I ideally prefer to take on dogs that are good with small animals, though this is a not vital as she is out of reach and can be kept separate if need be. I unfortunately cannot take on cats in our home, as my sister is allergic.

Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have, I look forward to hearing from you!
